Your North Star is Right Under Your nose: The Conscience.

We all have moments where we feel like we're blindly blundering through life on autopilot. In addition, we know that we were on auto pilot because we're reminded by something that tells us that that's exactly where we were. You know, those moments because when we're in the moment it feels good like light, but in hindsight the moment reveals itself as pure darkness, even the darkest moments in our lives.

But while it might feel like you're alone in the dark, there is one thing you can count on to help guide you: your conscience. It's always there, reminding you of who you could be and helping to steer your autonomic-ass away from bull shit behaviors.

In this blog post, we'll explore why your conscious is your greatest ally and how it can help put you on the path to your destiny—you know, that thing that you have no fucking idea what it is? Yeah, well guess what, you do have a destiny. You just have no idea what it is.

More about that in a minute, but first let’s get clear for a minute, you could very well be destined for a life in prison or even some greater form of eternal constraint. Or, you could be training for a more favorable position like maybe changing the world in a Mother Teressa’esk like way—never seen before. And, since most of us can’t identify our destiny if it slapped us across the face after a two-hour deep meditation, we need all the help we can get.

For all I know your conscious could be saying to you that instead of deescalating that argument that you had with your sister, good job by the way, you actually should’ve slapped her silly with an off comment about her sleeping around when she was in high school. What I’m saying here is that you could be the next Hitler. Or not. One sure fire way to know is to listen to your conscience.

What Is Your Conscience?

Your conscience is that little voice inside of you that guides your decisions and helps keep things in check. It's the part of yourself that knows what’s right and wrong, what's smart and what isn't—essentially, it is the moral compass that helps guide us through life. It can be loud or quiet, but it's always present—even when we don't want to hear it.

The Power Of Your Conscience

Your conscience is a powerful tool when used properly. It can help curb bad behavior before it happens by making sure that our actions are in line with our values and beliefs. It also serves as a reminder of our potential—although it's speaking to us sometimes before we act, during the act, and after the act, most of us ignore it, 87 percent of the time. And, instead of going with that clear voice that said you fucked-up, we support the ongoing insanity more commonly known as self-inflicted bullshit.

The conscious is no louder then after the fact (ATF). It's ATF warnings we need to pay close attention to. If you don’t, you’re cementing the very habits in the way of your destiny.

By tapping into the power of our ATF conscious, we can become aware of our talents and abilities and even who we are underneath. By hearing it we can start working towards achieving those goals instead of blindly bumbling through life and following impulses. The awareness gives us the opportunity to create a better future for ourselves instead of repeating patterns from the past (which often lead to fucking nowhere).

What happens when you Lie to yourself

It's easy to fool yourself. It's easy to lie and tell yourself what you want to hear when in reality, it's the exact opposite of what has come to fruition due to your own bad decision making. When you fail to allow your conscience to be the driving factor when making choices, you become tainted by self-destructive behavior and spiral into ultimately being someone you never wanted to be even in the slightest sense.

Every single decision carries its own level of weight and responsibility, for if not taken objectively with a clear vision, oftentimes an unfavorable result is produced that was anything but desired. An individual must strive to recognize their limits and mistakes and rectify them from the root before things take a turn for the worse -- because at that point, it may become too late.

How do you know you fucked up?

Pay attention to the signals that your conscience is sending you every time you fuck up; even a tiny correction can end up being hugely beneficial in the long run. Look, the fact is that you know that your conscience is correcting you when after you've fucked up you are having thoughts that you fucked up. Simple, Fucking up is a part of life, and most successful people have experienced more failures than successes. When you make a mistake, your conscience is there to remind you—and the fact that it does so proves how important it is. It's a hard pill to swallow but listening to the correcting conscious after making a mistake shows real strength of character; it means you're willing to own up to your error, learn from it, and move on.

How To Harness The Power Of Your Conscience

It’s important to remember that your conscience will only guide you if your follow it.

Here are some tips for how to do this:

· For crying out loud, acknowledge the conscience

· Take time for self-reflection - Make sure to take time out each day for self-reflection so that you can really tap into what your conscience is trying to tell you about yourself and your direction in life.

· Stay mindful - Mindfulness means being present with yourself, which involves paying attention not just to what’s going on around us but also within us—our thoughts, feelings, emotions, etc. Many times we’re so concerned with being liked we crossed the lines of who we want to be and wake up on the side of the enemy.

This will help strengthen your connection with your inner voice so that it becomes easier to recognize and more importantly take action when something feels off or wrong.

If you think your conscience is off:

If you think for a moment that your conscience has no idea what it’s taking about, or if you’ve diluted your conscience’s voice for so long you can’t tell if it’s a strong enough signal to do anything about: consider this…

A person who displays a complete lack of conscience is known as a psychopath, although some mental health professionals refer to it as Antisocial Personality Disorder (ASPD).

Psychopathy is characterized by an extreme disregard for the rights, safety and feelings of others. People with the disorder often have trouble feeling empathy or guilt, and they can be manipulative or irresponsible in their behavior. They might show no remorse for any wrongdoings, break rules without considering consequences and act impulsively. They more often make up more bullshit reasons for doing the wrong thing in the first place with little to no regard for correction. Additionally, psychopaths are often quite charming when confronted about their actions; but also, can be quite confrontational. Beware!

These folks possess various other characteristics that are important to consider that are hidden beneath the glittering exterior.

These include grandiose sense of self-worth; shallow emotional responses; callousness/lack of empathy; persistent lying/deceitful behavior; cunning/manipulation tendencies; lack of responsibility or accountability arising from blame shifting and refusal to accept the consequences of their behavior ; irresponsibility in terms of job maintenance or financial obligations; impulsivity such as risk taking behaviors involving drugs alcohol etc., and aggressive inclination especially toward assumed-weaker victims such as women children etc..

Conclusion:

Your conscious will always be there as a reminder of who you could be if only you choose to listen closely enough. By listening to your conscience, and when you hear it taking time out for the self-reflection it’s recommending, will ensure that this inner voice is heard loud and clear above all else! Ultimately, doing this will help guide us towards living up to our full potential — both personally & professionally — leading us towards greater levels of success than ever before!
